Art Classes at Off the Rails Arthouse, Ladybank Station, Fife

Now confirmed: Drawing Club for adults – Mondays September 16th, 23rd, 30th, October 7th. Times: 7pm – 9.30pm (note extended class time this block). Mixed ability class building on themes from the last block, with subjects to suit those returning and for new participants. Confidence building with fun exercises using pencil, charcoal and inks, both indoors and outside. There is the possibility of an optional follow up day class after this block to put everything into practice. Contact me for details.

Open for business again! – Open Studios 4th, 5th & 6th May

Yes, it’s open house again! Come and visit during Open Studios North Fife Saturday 4th – Monday 6th May, 10am – 6pm. Stop for a coffee and view my gallery of work – landscapes and wildlife originals, prints and cards. You can also book a watercolour pet portrait of your faithful friend AND book yourself onto one of my upcoming courses!

Outdoor Sketching Class ‘Art Fore All! Saturday 27th April

Unlock your creative potential with a fun, outdoor sketching session taking in the panoramic views around Elmwood Golf Course, Stratheden, Cupar on Saturday 27th April. All materials supplied – charcoal, pastels and pencils – with a pad and some drawing materials yours to keep to encourage you with your own creative discovery! BOOKING ESSENTIAL! St Andrews Fife Farmers’ Market this Saturday!

My next stall will be in the fantastic university town of St Andrews, with Fife Farmers’ Market at Argyle Street car park, Saturday 6th April 9am-1pm. A range of examples of past work for delighted clients will be on display, as will my expanding range of prints and greetings cards, ready for you to purchase! Also ask about my next classes in animal portraiture and outdoor sketching.

‘Spring in the Loft’ at Ardross Farm Shop this Easter weekend!

Come and see my ever expanding range of gift ideas at the start of spring at Ardross Farm, nr Elie, Fife. My greetings cards and art prints will be there as will recent examples of my animal portraiture AND details of my new courses in outdoor sketching, and how to paint your own pets in watercolour. A wide choice of other gift ideas will also be on display by local artists and makers. A wide range of cards and prints and of course, you can book your pet portrait in watercolour or sign up for one of my upcoming classes in animal painting or outdoor sketching. Largo Bay Art Society – Animal Portraits workshop on Wednesday 6th February

I’m very happy to have been asked to run a workshop for Largo Bay Art Society, Fife. The content will be part demonstration and part workshop to give you all the skills necessary to complete your own animal portrait in watercolour.
